Lauren O’Neill GoFundMe
Lexi O’Neill created a fundraiser via GoFundMe to help fulfill her burial wishes, celebrate her life, and support her partner and sister who have cared for her. According to the page, O’Neill’s intentions were to be buried and interred at The Green-Wood Cemetery in Brooklyn, NY, where she could remain close to her friends, family, and cherished artistic community. She also imagined a joyful reunion of her new and old acquaintances in New York City, complete with flowers, photographs, parties, and plenty of good memories. They intend to arrange this event soon, as well as another in Los Angeles and her birthplace of Mechanicsville, Virginia. Aside from commemorating her life, she intended for the individuals who committed their time to caring for her to be supported during this time of sadness and transition.
