Caleb Gottberg was a lead teacher and coach at DCPS. He was just the greatest. He always kept an eye on his loved ones and pupils, and they could ask him any questions they had concerning the kids’ education since he would always give them the straight answer! There was never a dull moment in his presence. Knowing him meant falling in love. So many will always remember Caleb as the bright spot in their lives. He constantly encouraged them to be themselves and dance as if no one else was around. With Caleb, they had some of their finest days filled with dance clubs, heartaches, moves, and tears. He bonded so deeply with his kids that onlookers were envious of their connection. Caleb, you will be sorely missed.

He never got weary of helping his “kids” and never stopped working. He used to be an assistant principal until he went back to teaching. He was an incredible multitasker, yet you could always count on him to give you his full attention.
