Shmuel Brog, the 5-year-old son of R’ Avrumy and Ayala Brog, died in a motor vehicle accident on Friday, May 31, in Jackson. According to reports, Shmuel was riding in a van when it collided with another car on East Veterans at Cleveland Court. He suffered severe injuries and experienced a traumatic arrest. After rescuing him from the scene and regaining his pulse, Hatzolah paramedics transported him to Jersey Shore University Medical Center, where he unfortunately passed away shortly after.
In addition, the driver of the second car in the collision had a traumatic arrest. After being taken to the Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus in Lakewood, she was tragically declared deceased. Her identity has not yet been made public, and more details about her will be shared as soon as they become available.
Funeral Arrangements
The levaya will take place at Lakewood Bais Olam, 782 E. 7th Street, on Friday at 1:45 p.m. It won’t be found within the chapel.
