Downtown Minneapolis – A shooting incident was reported near the Stone Arch Bridge and a male was found dead with a head injury. According to a bystander, a long gun was found nearby along with the decedent’s vehicle. It was later confirmed to have been suicide. The victim was said to be the ER nurse who treated Mitchell and Burnsville officers.
The victim who is yet to be named wa said to have gone to the scene after his shift. It been said on social media that this could have been avoided as first responders and hospital staffs, are all under great stress and trauma from these deaths and lack of support from elected officials and leaders.
