Brook Nadjiwon GoFundMe
As of the time of publication, Deanna and Phil Nadjiwon had set up a GoFundMe campaign to help the family with burial fees as well as any other expenditures that might come up in the interim. Any additional money raised will be used to establish the Brook Nadjiwon Memorial Fund at AlgomaTrad.ca, a registered charity in St. Joseph Island, to assist future students in sharing and nurturing a love of music, as Brook did.
The request by Brook Nadjiwon’s family to create a charity in her honor has the public feeling both humbled and honored. Through AlgomaTrad music programming, people like Brook will be able to pursue their passion for music with the aid of this grant. The people of the island, including the Nadjiwon family, were very delighted by Brook’s love of learning and playing the piano. We are sincerely sorry for the family, friends, and community of Nadjiwon.
