She completed a lot of peer reviews as well.
RIP, Elizabeth Freeman, dearest Gletha. Thank you for everything you brought to this world, especially the curiosity, kindness and care beneath all that brilliance. Elizabeth Freeman Cancer Battle
Throughout her cancer fight, Freeman made the effort to reach out to her friends on Facebook, suggesting that they get recommended colonoscopies and donate blood. Over the past several days, she has received a barrage of farewell notes and congratulations from her friends, coworkers, and students, many of whom are also authors for Duke University Press. We are sending our prayers to her loved ones and her family.
