Shooting Revere, Massachusetts: Following a shooting incident outside a stop-and-shop grocery store on Squire Road on Tuesday evening, police in the city of Revere were conducting an investigation. The event took place outside the storefront near to Route 1 at around 6:30 p.m. Little information about the incident was released by the police. We were able to get security footage from a Tesla that was parked nearby that depicts a guy in an SUV arguing with someone outside of the car.
As the argument gets more heated, the guy inside the car ultimately takes out what looks to be a firearm and shoots the man. According to the police, the shooting did not seem to be random. The inquiry was still going on.
Stop & Shop said in a written statement that it was aware of an “unfortunate incident” that happened outside of its Revere location. Stop & Shop declared, “We’re cooperating with the police in their investigation.” “The safety of our associates and customers is a top priority for us, and we are thankful for local law enforcement and first responders for their swift response.”
According to the firm, customers can once again enter the store.
