A man in Tibshelf died, and a murder inquiry is now under progress. At 8:37 p.m. on Tuesday, May 28, Derbyshire Constabulary received allegations of an attack in Addison Street. A man in his 40s was pronounced deceased at the scene after suffering severe injuries. A 17-year-old kid has been placed under custody on charges of homicide. He’s still being held by the cops.
This is thought to be a singular domestic event, however the inquiry is still in its early stages.
In 2019, after an incident that occurred in the wee hours of the morning, a man has been taken into custody and charged with attempted murder. At 3.40 in the morning, police were summoned to the site of the alleged attack on High Street in Tibshelf. When they arrived, they discovered a 38-year-old town resident seriously injured by a knife.
According to the officers, he was treated at a hospital after the event and is currently on the mend. Shortly after the event, a 24-year-old guy was taken into custody and charged with attempted murder later that same day.
Remanded in jail, Joseph McDowell, of High Street, Tibshelf, is scheduled to appear at North East Derbyshire Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
