A collision between a car and a motorcycle in Sydney’s west that left two people dead and one critically injured, a convoy of forty motorcycle riders came to an end in tragedy. Following the collision at the crossroads of the Hume Highway and Worth Street in Greenacre, emergency services were contacted about 7 p.m.
The rider and passenger, 26-year-old William Brown and 24-year-old Doey Choi, the passenger, were treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics; but, according to police, they both passed away at the site.
It is believed that the two were good friends. The bike crashed into the Toyota Corolla, which was being driven by a 25-year-old guy, flipping the vehicle. He was in serious condition when he was taken to Westmead Hospital.
The motorbike is said to have been a member of the procession led by the Sydney motorbike Community Group that this morning was making its way to Mrs. Macquarie’s Chair. Police have set up a crime scene and are urging anybody who has dashcam footage to get in touch with Crimestoppers.
